The process required rapid powder circulation, controlled spray distribution and local deagglomeration. A plough mixer with application-specific spray nozzles and high-speed chopper capability was evaluated.
Nozzle location, droplet size, liquid rate, powder absorbency and chopper sequence were treated as one integrated process rather than independent equipment options.
